Ok, if you’re online and have been learning about Affiliate Marketing, you’ve probably heard this phrase: “The Money Is In The List” – Right?
Well, I’m writing this short little post to tell you that, yes, I will be writing more on this topic, but for now, you really have to “get in line” if you are – even remotely – going to build a list – ever.
Why Build A List?
Well, Traffic for one! Whether you’re in the world of Affiliate Marketing, or you have a “Brick and Mortar” small business, there is “Money In Your List!” And, yes, you need to tap that every now and then in order to bring people through your door or entice them to buy online. Think about it. There’s not many websites now which do not entice you to join their email list “for future offers, specials, promotions,” etc. – Right? There is a reason for doing this.
It’s a wise business decision to capture as much info on a prospective customer. They may be surfing around on the web, and they may have tripped over your site. They may have seen an ad, or maybe they are there because someone mentioned your site to them. In any case, it’s wise to capture prospective customer’s email addresses so that you can market to them. This ability to be able to contact that person in the future is absolute “GOLD” – especially to a small business.
It’s A Win / Win!
Yes, it’s GOLD to a small business, but, might I add, consumers win too! This is a well-known marketing strategy to use your current list in order to share special sale prices with your more loyal customers or those soon to be customers who have expressed interest in receiving future offers at your store or place of business.
So, yes, “The Money Is In The List!”
