INTRODUCTION
I believe I have finally found the source of the problem that I’ve been trying to identify! No wonder why there are various names for this “opportunity!” This particular product is a ClickBank Product being marketed by various Affiliate Marketers – many of whom have identified this product as a SCAM. While, yes, there are a few reviews that state this product is legit, there are many bloggers who are trying to warn people to stay away. But, finding it as an affiliate product would explain a lot. We’ll get into it more, but, in this review, I hope to help educate those who may be considering this opportunity and help them understand the differences in attitude, their confidence level, and how some people manipulate and/or deceive others into thinking that this is a “job opportunity.” So, is “Paid Social Media Jobs” a Scam or is it Legit? It’s actually BOTH – Let’s discuss!
PROS & CONS
Well, we’ll discuss the Pros first.
PROS:
…Well, OK, for those who are looking for a “job,” yes, there’s a good chance that you will find yourself on this site. The owner has used a heavily searched keyword phrase in the domain name to rank in major search engines. Not only did they use the keyword phrase “Social Media Jobs,” they’ve used “Paid Social Media Jobs” to help entice those who are deliberately typing in and looking for “jobs.”
CONS:
The problem with that is that they are deliberately deceiving those who are looking for “jobs” as opposed to those who are looking for “online – work at home – opportunities.” I’ve even written about this nuance of “job” v. “online business” on this blog. Many people, unfortunately, think of themselves only as employees working for someone else. But, in this instance, there is no difference. This is a work at home opportunity marketed and disguised as a “job,” but it is really a work at home self-employed work opportunity… And, yes, there’s more…
CON 1: But, first things first! Are you looking for a “job,” or are you looking to start your own online business? That is the question, and that’s why those who think of themselves as “employees” will likely find themselves on that site and yes, possibly even purchasing their “product.” So, while yes, you may find yourself on this site because you are looking for a job, what the site is really offering is a way to market your “offering” and begin working for yourself as a sole proprietor Paid Social Media Manager. So, the bait and switch routine has begun…
In short, you may find a “job,” but you are still freelancing… And, what is the definition of a “freelancer?”
CON 2: In one of my previous articles, I discussed red flags and how to spot scams online. The bottom line is that you should see a red flag whenever someone entices you with a “job,” but wants to charge you to learn more…
CON 3: The product “PaidSocialMediaJobs” is really just a job posting board site where you list your “job” offer and the price you would charge. There are various well-known sites where you can go to post your services, and no, you don’t pay to post this info. The major one that comes to mind is “Fiverr.” You can join Fiverr – FOR FREE – and post your services along with your prices. People will contact you if you 1) have built up enough trust, 2) are reasonably priced, and 3) provide good service, …just like any other business… Other sites that allow you to list your services include: ODesk, Elance, and a number of Directory or search engine sites such as Facebook and Google where you can list your business and/or advertise your services.
CON 4: For those cautious buyers who have now learned to do some research on products before plunking down some cold hard cash, you may find another Red Flag. I know I did!
When I searched for some basic info about this product, there are valid reviews that addressed the product that was purchased, and some suspicious reviews that suggest you “should” purchase the product despite using the word “SCAM” in their domain name. They are obviously targeting people who are searching for “scam” info on the product in hopes of changing the minds of those who are skeptical. Upon further research, those sites that are suggesting the reader goes ahead and purchases the product… not only have their domains registered anonymously in Panama, but they are actually on the very same server! Suspicious …to say the least! So, please remember – do your research! …Then, do more research!
WHO IT IS FOR?
Simple! People who are looking to supplement their income with either a part time “job,” a work online “job,” or a work at home “job.” This product is definitely geared for beginners and newbies who are “seeking employment,” “want to work part-time,” “want to earn extra money,” “want to work from home,” and many other “employee” type phrases, but may lack the confidence to start their own business – even though that is exactly what they will be doing…. The difference is only in the wording used to target those who think of themselves as potential “employees” and not business owners.
In fact, I deliberately used the word “jobs” in quite a few of my posts on this very blog to target those very same people! Here are a few:
TRAINING/TOOLS OVERVIEW
Well, from what I’ve read, I understand that the site offers four modules of videos that discusses what you’ll be doing and how Social Media Managers are needed now. Yes, there is a legitimate need for Social Media Managers, but if you want legitimate opportunities to earn an income posting to Facebook, Twitter, and the like, your best bet is to start your own profitable blog and offer your services online.
SUPPORT:
Little to none. Although there is a “live” chat box on the site, no reviews I’ve read have really talked about support. From what I’ve read, and discovered, you will not find too much in the way of support. In fact, one person mentioned that he went back to Clickbank to obtain his refund because he took the $1.00 trial offer, and they quickly charged him $77.00 more for the “service.”
PRICE
I have found a number of different price points. They may change often, so please keep an open mind. They are as follows:
$97 – $47 – $37
I have even seen a $1.00 Trial Offer, but later read about being automatically charged for an additional $77.00 more within a week.
FINAL OPINION & VERDICT
If you truly want to see for yourself what this offer entails, here’s a link to their informational webinar where you can go to learn more about Paid Social Media Jobs: Register Here For The Webinar.
Let me also state that the reason why I am providing affiliate links is because, despite my warnings, many people will still go and purchase something against my recommendation. And, since this is what I do, and have worked to provide some valuable information regarding this product along with my recommendation, I will absolutely include my affiliate link. In fact, seeing that I seem to be the only one who has reviewed this product and actually identified it as a Clickbank product, people will be able to contact Clickbank direct should any problems arise as a result of using this product. Clickbank is a well-known Affiliate Marketing site that supposedly vets offers from people and makes these offers available to the Affiliates who then Market the product in exchange for a commission. If people are not happy with the product, it’s time for Clickbank to learn about it – don’t you think?
In my opinion, you are much better off starting your own blog and marketing your own Social Media Management Services. If you do spend a lot of time on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, and more, you are halfway there! Starting your own website or blog is not at all hard. In fact, you could even offer that as yet another service for businesses who are in search of help with Social Media and web presence. You could offer to manage their websites in addition to their Social Media accounts using what you learn at Wealthy Affiliate.
My number one recommendation is to join Wealthy Affiliate. This is an educational forum that teaches you everything you need to know to run a profitable online business, and if you want to offer Social Media Management Services, whether locally or online, you already have a niche just waiting to be developed and marketed to local or online businesses.

You’re welcome! Thanks for stopping by and doing your “due diligence!” I think it’s great that people are finally catching on, and are doing their homework by doing more research. That’s the only way, I think, that those of us who are in this business or providing “reviews” will be able to help people and warn them before they plunk down their hard-earned money.
Thanks, once again, for stopping by, and have a great day!
